Η Βαλεντίνα Ταμιωλάκη είναι σχεδιάστρια φωτισμού και μουσικός. Γεννήθηκε στο Ηράκλειο Κρήτης, αλλά μεγάλωσε στην Αθήνα. Είναι απόφοιτη του Τμήματος Θεατρικών Σπουδών της Φιλοσοφικής Σχολής του ΕΚΠΑ και του Εθνικού Ωδείου Χαλανδρίου (Δίπλωμα Φλάουτου). Κάτοχος Master of Arts με ειδίκευση στο Σχεδιασμό Φωτισμών από το Royal Central School of Speech and Drama του Πανεπιστημίου του Λονδίνου. Έχει σχεδιάσει φωτισμούς για παραστάσεις όπερας, θεάτρου και χορού, εικαστικές εγκαταστάσεις, site-specific, συναυλίες και θέατρο κούκλας στην Ελλάδα και το εξωτερικό. Zει κι εργάζεται στην Αθήνα.
Valentina Tamiolaki is a professional lighting designer and musician. She is particularly interested in exploring the relationship between movement, sound, and light in performance and installation. Her training at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama (University of London) allowed her to specialise as a theatre practitioner in devised, text-based, physical, site-specific, dance, and puppet theatre. Her work includes lighting designs for theatres in Greece, Cyprus, Poland, and the UK. She currently lives and works in Athens.
